Why is this such a big meme?

I remember 4 years ago I came in feeling nauseous and had a temperature of 102 degrees. You know what she did? Instead of calling my parents to tell them I needed picked up, she gave me a room temperature ice pack. I for real felt like dying. It turned out I had a virus that was getting pretty bad. They said I should have been sent home immediately. The school nurse a month later left since she was getting reported by other students in which she didn't help them at all. Kind of a weird story, lol.

The reason they do this is for legal reasons and because if you are allergic to things like pain relievers, you could have serious reactions in some cases. also because they don't have direct permission of the parent in that moment. Also most of the time you are supposed to bring in your own medication, like write ur name on the bottle and put the bottle in a baggie
