I remember from a couple of weeks ago one of our leftist memers -- I don't recall which alt-identity was in use -- getting nearly hysterical over the mere possibility that the draft could be reinstated if the U.S. re-engages in a Middle-Eastern war while the all volunteer forces are saying "F**ck you!" to the WOKE military recruitment efforts.
Nothing wakes a liberal/progressive/leftist up to the real presence and taste of reality like consequences for their irresponsible voting habits and crappy ideology finally coming home to roost and personally affecting THEM. It's always supposed to happen to other people . . . maybe to the lower level peasant class that they collectively pretend to care about as long as they remain always twice removed in regards to their presence . . . but NOT to people like themselves.
