MAGA GOP--Losers at Legislating, Successes at Shutdowns.

Their job is to represent their constituents.
There are plenty of laws already. If your not going to enforce the laws on the books, you have no business passing more laws.
Their jobs also include oversight, they should conduct more oversight in the various and sundry government regulators that make Americans lives miserable and more expensive.

The oversight part of my comment went to the enforcement of our laws, Larry.
Like DHS, for example… Mayorkas’ job is to enforce the immigration laws. He isn’t. That is why their is oversight. They should impeach him and remove him.
I supported the concept of the various and independent States to make the decisions as to whether or not abortions are allowed in their respective states. That isn’t anti-woman, Larry.
And, no…it did not empower regulators to take away the rights of women.

"I don't think the Lord Jesus himself could manage this group," said Rep. Troy Nehls, R-Texas. He added that he would pray for the new speaker as the House adjourned for a long weekend.

"We’re still dealing with the same divisions we always have had," said another House Republican. "We’re ungovernable."

A Republican, in a position to know the facts agrees with my assessment.
