Yes, that the way it works for most people that are dual citizens. Do you want to live in America, enjoy all the benefits but not pay taxes? Or vice versa?

I don't want to live in the USA. Hungary is more safe. But there were a threaty between the US and Hungary to prevent double taxation, but from January 2024 there won't be any.

You want to live in the USA as a citizen, you pay taxes like a citizen.
