I got 2 degrees and still ended up working retail because I didn't have enough professional experience.
My advice: try to become friends with a blue collar guy who could refer you to his supervisor. The job will be more physical but can pay better and sometimes offers training. Unfortunately even mindless labor jobs nowadays are asking for experience that you can't get, so get to know as many people as fast as you can. Most jobs are "who you know."
