Yes, Eren's death was meaningless, due to the fact that there was still war after the rumbling. The whole point of Eren's actions was to prevent that, and I feel that Ymir wanted to stop that cycle, but Mikasa, Armin, and the rest of them wanted to save a humanity that ended up starting a war with the Eldians that were still alive on the island, which causes the cycle to happen all over again.

So ur telling me u just wanted a happy ending to a series like aot? That's cheap and goes against the series tone. It also still is not meaningless bc the titans are gone forever. There are parts of the ending that I don't like but this is not one of them
