they pay attention to pro users more

not true actually, i recently bought pro for Iceu and his approval times have stayed pretty much the same. even though in the approval queue, pro users memes are put at the top.

bro doesn't know that the mods have to sort through thousands of posts

they probably have to submit a meme one by one

and then the unfunny children who still make among us memes somehow get their memes approved before you.

The thing is...
Their jobs and whole lives aren't totally dedicated to imgflip anymore.
And as Lazy_Gravity just said, yes, they do pay much more attention Imgflip Pro users (I'm gonna get there) and yeah, that's the cause.

It's not worth it to post in fun anymore. I pretty much post everything I can in specific streams like dark_humour, anime_memes, metal_memes etc.

mods prob have to deal with stuff like school or shi

Mods have to be 18+yo, preferably 21+. While college is a thing, I doubt the mods here are of that age.
