can we please just ban unnecessary song singing sections in movies already (unless it actually makes sense within the context, e.g. movie is about singing and stuff)
same with kissing/romance scenes in movies that aren't about romance (maybe a few exceptions if it's very critical and highly necessary for the plot)

The way I see it, there are 2 types of musicals.

- one uses songs to push the plot foward
- the other uses plot to push the songs forward
