Same reasons. No imaginations, sense, or knowledge of consumers. Plenty of good material to choose from. Best selling books! Nah.. can't use them! I know! Let's remake a movie that's already been made.. 2 or 3 times already! Saw part 35? Sure! Apparently the public hasn't seen enough saws. Chainsaw massacre part 55.. if you need to see blood, work as a meat cutter. You get steak and hamburger and you love your work. Win/win in anyone's book. The companies spend extra money on special affects, now, to cover up bad acting and or bad story lines. Then they complain that no one wants to spend money to see the film. Other than those little things, I can't imagine why multi billion dollar companies can't make money
