HALLOWEEN SPECIAL- PROMPT IN THE COMMENTS

REALLY I DIDNT KNOW THERE WAS NO PROMPT- HMMMM MAYBE ITS BECAUSE IT WAS HALLOWEEN- ANYWAY
Walking around a forest at night was never really your thing but...your village had just gone up in flames and for some reason you were the only survivor. You walked around for hours, searching for any sign of life, any at all; You found a small altar in the forest, you didn't really have anything on you except for some dry meat and a few pieces of silver. You decided to place the silver on the altar, the forest grew silent, the birds had flown away and the crickets went quiet. Over-head you heard the sound of wings and behind you...the sound of someone landing

(My character is in a maiden costume just cause-)
Jenny- What was that-

The woman stayed silent, her wings resting on her back as she stood quietly.
A few minutes went by before she spoke, her voice was low and almost distorted
"Hello there little mortal....what are you doing here? Do you know who this altar is for?"

Jenny- *she shakes her head*

She smiled a sickly sweet smile and glanced down at Jenny
"You have made an offering for Dalaian, the Goddess of Death and Fortune"

Jenny- I have? *She was a bit shocked*

"Yes...it's not as bad as you may assume, I am not as bad as you mortals may assume..."
She smiled and bowed her head a bit
"I am Dalaian..at your service"

Jenny- I'm Jenny *She bowed a bit back*

"You do not have to bow"

Jenny- Oh- okay

"Would you care to fly or walk?"
Dalaian unfolded her wings, stretching her hand out for Jenny to take

Jenny- Whichever is easier...

"May I ask you a sorta personal question?.."

Jenny- Sure

She smiled and unfolded her wings
"So...what brings you to this part of the forest? Usually the people of the town don't stray this far"

Jenny- My friends dared me to come here, but mainly I came out of pure curiosity

"I do have a question though..."
She closed her eyes and seemed to be concerned

Jenny- Yes?

Dalaian mumbled some curse words under her breath and held her hands to her face
"Have you any idea how it started?...Or if anyone survived?...I was partial to the people of the town"

Jenny- *She shakes her head*

Jenny- What do you mean?

"Curiosity killed the cat...But satisfaction brought it back y'know..."

Jenny- *She nods a bit* I guess so...

The rest of the ride was short and silent, they landed in the village...well what remained of it and Dalaian fell to the ground in tears

Jenny- *She panicked a little* Are you okay?!

"Holy crap indeed...I suppose"
She smiled, she had no clue what that meant
"We will be to our destination in a short moment"

Jenny- *She nods* Alright

"You do not know what I mean do you?..."
She chuckled and bit and sat down on the floor, patting the grass next to her

Jenny- *She chuckles a bit* No...

"Would you mind comin' with me to check?...I-I just wanna see for myself"

Jenny- *She nods*

"Have you...have you ever felt a pain like this?...I never had and I don't know how to handle this"

Jenny- *She shakes her head* I wish I could say yes...

"Yes...this town was kind to me, they treated me like a living person rather than a monster"

Jenny- That's good to know...

She sobbed quietly, the emotions of the souls around her made her break down
"I can...I can hear their sobs, their pleas for help"
She looked around teary eyed and gasped slightly
"I loved this town...I use to come and play with the children after school"

Jenny- *She looks at him* Really..?

Dalaian snickered and grabbed Jenny's hand then she took flight

Jenny- *She gasps and then looks around* Holy crap!

"What happen to the town you came from?...I saw a bunch of smoke"

Jenny- There was a fire...

"Well...usually i'd kill whoever came into this forest uninvited but...you do not seem to hold any ill-will towards me..."

Jenny- No, no not at all

Judge Angels: I hear you behind me.

"You have given a gift...how odd. I did not think angels prayed to a demonic goddess"
Her tone was condescending but her gaze seemed almost...grateful
"You have revived me"

Angels: *smiles, sheathing her sword* Well I'm not like other angels. I practically work for a demon/cryptid. Besides, everyone deserves a second chance. Name's Judge Angels, just call me Angels. Your name?

She thought for a moment, her wings fluttering slightly as the breeze blew her hair slightly.
"My name is Dalaian"

"I am from the 5th ring of hell and an appointed goddess from the mortals"

Angels: Beautiful name!

"Hm...not usually the reaction I get.."
She crossed her arms over her chest and huffed
"How did you find this place anyway? It was burned down ions ago by the elder beings..and yet you still put an offering? Did you not know who it was for?"

Angels: My Dear, I did know what the alter was for. As for how I found it, I was walking away from a burning village and came across the alter. Like I said, everyone deserves a second chance.

"I seriously doubt you actually believe that"
She snickered and scoffed
"Only certain...only certain beings deserve retribution...I am certainly not one of them"

Angels: I believe you are.

"Ah...The village of Dabaro...a feeble town...."
She stood there for a moment and thought, the village was home to her followers, well what remained of them
"A pity...really"

Angels: *nods* I was able to get two families out before the fire spread.

Dalaian's calm demeanor vanished upon hearing those words, she glared coldly at Angels.
"May I have a word with them?"
The words were like venom seething from her mouth, it was true, she did just want to talk but..something about her attitude change didn't sit right

Angels: As long as I can finish it yes. BLOODY PAINTER/HELEN OTIS!!

Dalaian smirked and leaned up against a tree
"Do you wish for me to get them?"

Angels: *smiles* No need. He's right here. *grabs B.P.'s shirt collar*

She thought for a moment
"That should work...What do you think...'B.P'

B.P.: Um... Sure?
Angels: *smiles* Helen, I will be telling the boss about this.

Dalaian took a few careful steps back, she seemed to take a defensive position in prep to be striked. She took a few shallow breaths, she was clearly in distress
"What're you doin'?"

Angels: No need to be afraid Dear. I'm simply just stretching my wings.

Dalaian switched her weight from one foot to another and scoffed
"You put your faiths into such important things, why have such faith in something you know little about? You some sort of reformer?"
She sounded hostile but some part of you knew she was just confused and lost

Angels: *smiles* I am no reformer. *she spreads her wings*

Dalaian huffed and eased her tense shoulders, averting all eye-contact
"Can you at least tell me what you want with me? And what village was burning?...Was it near?"

Angels: *points to the village outside the forest*

Dalaian had a glare in her eyes, she was fuming.
"What will you do to atone?..."

B.P.: Um...
Angels: How about he helps to rebuild the village?

Dalaian stood at her full height, that being 6'6, and stared B.P dead in their eyes

"Have you anything to say? You caused the death of many of my mortals"

B.P.: Uhhh... Sorry? Our bosses orders...

"Is that all? You should be begging for mercy, bosses orders or not..."

Angels: *smacks B.P.* The Boss didn't say anything about burning the village!

"Have you any idea how it broke out? I am partial to that town....Wonderful people there"
She smirked and snickered quietly, she had little value for mortal lives but enjoyed the noise that came from the town
