ive got autism adhd and depression, all diagnosed. i hate people who self diagnose themselves. you cant just say youre like autistic when you dont know if you are. and high functioning and low functioning does exist. HF means you're able to do most normal tasks and sometimes even be a savant, where low functioning autism causes you to probably not have the mental capacity to even use the internet

I mean.... not all cases of a self-diagnosis are wrong by default, I'm sure there's plenty of people who were never officially diagnosed with autism, but I do believe that the majority of people who did self-diagnose are not actually autistic. As I said though, just a majority, not all.
