I remember playing Cold War zombies where you could grind every single gun to your heart’s content up to 70 levels. That was some of the most fun I have ever had grinding a game. I’m pretty sure I have over 400 hours into Cold War.
Rogue Legacy has the same concept except you can upgrade everything… but weapons. You can buy more powerful ones though.
It would be a perfect progression system if they didn’t force you to give up all your money once you decide to do another run. Whoever came up with that idea is an idiot.
Also the enemy hits can be kind of bullcrap. You die a lot, but very rarely does it feel like it’s your fault for dying. It’s an okay game, but be prepared to die unfairly some of the time. It’s still a huge satisfying grind though.
