God's standard is perfection. No sin of any kind. Or faith and trust in the shed blood of Jesus Christ, His death, and resurrection that paid our sin debt. Our "doing good things" won't cover it. If I go to court because I steal, a righteous judge can't let me go free because I have done something good. But if someone pays the debt I owe, He can set me free. I, by myself am no more able to enter heaven on my own than say someone who has murdered another. "The wages of sin is death" applies to each of us". God will not be grading on a curve. Jesus gave up His life to pay that sin debt for each of us for all time but only if we accept and acknowledge His actions and authority to do that. We are seeing, in and around Israel what could very well be bible prophecy being fulfilled right now. The grace that God offers goes away when we die or when He unleashes His wrath upon the earth. None of us is promised a tomorrow. A fall, car accident, sickness, anything could end us today. We can accept the free and unearned gift He wants to give us, or take our chances without Him. God, being perfect and sin free can't abide sin in His presence, that's why He offers this gift. If you haven't accepted His gift, give it some thought. There are two options after death :with God, and without. I don't wish to see anyone in hell after death.
