Honestly, I just picked this one up down the road. I've been drawing these characters since 2021-ish as well, so if I had to say something it'd probably be: Practice what you want to draw and stay dedicated to it. I can assure you my art style now is better than my artstyle 2 years ago.
Ok. I actually draw in a similar way, just slightly more realistic. I am currently in the middle of making a TOH fan movie, sort of like a Steven Universe Future thing, and this just really caught my eye. I like it!
