That's absolutely incorrect as a matter of International law. See Security Council Resolution 242 (as I recall). Indefinitely occupying (and annexation) and the imprisonment of 2.4 Million people...collective punishment, siege warfare, etc. - all constitute Warcrimes and Crimes Against Humanity.

If you're in someone else's house - unlawfully - that's whatever crime you committed, not self-defense, when they're forced to take up arms to eject you.
