ah but the thing is there will always be arkuums under user control, thats just the way it is
no matter how trustworthy someone is, eventually, a user who has had the thought of an arkuum in the back of their mind will eventually gain owner

its just inevitable - either have the devs make some form of a solution to arkuuming, we split control between users and sitemods or sitemods forever

I got an idea
Make it so only site mods can remove owners in a stream
Other owners can promote mods to owners but they can't take it away

wouldnt work
arkuumer waits until other owners are offline, removes all mods, disables posting, does the other rituals

other owners come back like the old arkuums - in the old situations, a sitemod would remove the arkuumers owner then give it back to the users, all this does is remove that step, stream would still be "arkuumed" until another owner gets online

Which would probably make it more likely for us to get ownership of the stream
If the site mods didn't have to give it us back a few times a year
