The steam deck is nothing like a switch. Sure, it has higher graphical power, but it also has several more control options. Track pads, back buttons, bumpers AND triggers. On top of a touch screen interface and an onscreen keyboard.
But even then, the Steam Deck is first and foremost a computer. It has its own Linux desktop mode and you can even install Windows onto it. It has its own file manager and you can download anything off the internet with Firefox.
And don’t forget the ability to install emulators, mods, other launchers, and having free online.
Plus, it has so much graphical power that it can emulate every Switch game.
