Neither, they're both missing the point. Science and religion are like mathematics and mother goose. Science is built on critical analysis of fact based evidence. Religion is built on belief in something that cannot be proven. Hence the word "faith".
Science can prove the existence of religon, but attempts to disprove its supernatural claims would be objectively futile, and attempts to prove them would at best be self-defeating.
