Let me explain this in a language you can understand

Once summed it up like this elsewhere - "Elder Scrolls Elves are NOT Lord of the Rings Elves."

I do feel kind of bad at what happened to the Snow Elves. . .but on the other hand they reaped what they sowed when they killed off that Nord colony because they refused to hand over the game's version of the One Ring. . .

Did they deserve to be tortured by the dwemer and mutate into falmer? No! But that is the fate that they themselves chose.

IMO, the Dunmer are the 'Liberals' of the game with how often they play the victim card.

What about the Altmer? Their plot to "unmake the world" could be compared to "decolonization".

That and their incest. . .the only two mer races that aren't totally messed up in some way are the Orcs and Bosmer who don't tick off other people in general or put the whole of existence at risk.

Of course Bosmer has that cannibal issue but that is more of a deterrent than a way of life so they don't go Wild Hunt all the time.

Don't generalize though. Individuality is what the libs (and Thalmor) are trying to take away.
