It's Matt Gaetz's fault for the triggering of the ousting of Kevin McCarthy. Gaetz was more interested in getting McCarthy out than the Dems but all the Dems voted to oust McCarthy. Their votes wouldn't have ousted McCarthy unless the 8 republicans sided with the Dems.
