I worked on the border between Tucson and Douglas, AZ for a while and this is what you see in every arroyo south of I-10. They use the backpack to carry a clean set of clothes to change into when it's time to try to blend in and use deoderant to try to mask the scent of the perspiration from the arduous walk. The saddest thing is finding someone who didn't make it and was abandoned in the desert to rot. That doesn't count the ones that try to rob you, the ones that pillage your house and vehicles or the ones that threaten to kill you.
One other tragedy the left ignores are the men who are forced by cartels to act as mules carrying drugs to vans waiting on I-10. All those guys want to do is get back to Mexico to get their mothers, aunts, sisters wives or daughters back from the kidnappers who forced them to transport drugs for ransom, before they get raped too many times or killed.
Build the wall, then build another one.
