STOICISM: By SimoTheFinlandized

===========================
Stoicism is a philosophical
school of thought and is one
of the three major ancient
Greek schools of philosophy,
along with Epicureanism
and Aristotelianism.
===========================
Stoicism is based on the
idea that human beings are
a part of the natural universe
and that we should accept
things as they are, while
controlling our emotions
and behavior in response
to events. The goal of
Stoicism is to live a virtuous
and happy life by following
a set of principles, such as
wisdom, courage, and justice.
===========================
According to stoicism, there
are three core virtues:
wisdom, justice, and
courage. Wisdom refers to
the use of reason and logic,
while justice involves doing
what is right and fair. Courage
is the ability to face difficult
situations and challenges
without fear or hesitation.
===========================
Furthermore, Stoicism puts a
great emphasis on the
importance of self-control,
especially when it comes to
one's emotions and desires.
===========================
Stoicism has influenced
many writers, philosophers,
and thinkers over the
centuries and has been a
popular philosophy among
many people, especially
during times of change and
uncertainty. Today, elements
of stoicism are also practiced
in psychotherapy and coaching.
