To put it in very rough terms, we’re Anti-Zionist (meaning we do not support the State of Israel) both because of how it was formed and what it continues to do today.
It was formed via the systematic displacement and dispossession of Palestinians, where they either fled to other countries or were confined to the Gaza Strip and West Bank. This was not only brutal but an inevitable part in the formation of a Jewish majority state in what was Palestine, since the Palestinians aren’t just going to disappear.
What it continues to do today is confine the remaining Palestinians to both the Gaza Strip and West Bank, both of which are basically open-air prisons. Israel is not generous in this “two-state solution” as they need to keep them somewhere. This is shown, as Palestinians there have their food, water, and electricity supply controlled by Israel as they can’t make their own (given the fact that they’re basically under the control of the IDF). They’re also subjected to frequent terror bombings by, you guessed it, Israel (ex. Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital explosion). Oh yeah, and the regions are so heavily controlled by the IDF that Palestinians there are even subjected to curfews (I’m not kidding look that up).
