Nobody has rights. All we have, all we've ever had are a list of temporary privileges that can be repealed or violated at any time at the convenience of the ruling class. Wounded Knee, Kent State, the Assault Weapons Ban of the 1990's, the recent overturning of Roe vs. Wade, and the mass imprisonment of over 100,000 Japanese-Americans during World War 2, are all excellent examples of this.
