Let's be honest, the Beam Sword might be stronger than the Enchanted Sword, but the Enchanted one is far more rare, not as rare as the Terragrim, but it's an important weapon needed for making the Zenith.

bro in the beam swords part of progression its worse bc by the time you det it the literally any other thing exissts

its dps sucks and is LITERALLY USLESS

the enchanted sword is better though because in the time you get it you don't have many melee projectiles so it makes a major difference in combat

furthermore it can be used to make the zenith and with the rublnator bought from the goblin tinkerer cen be used for some good looking decor around your base

and can be used to craft the zenith to feel like god (very good feeling)

zenith is cool and all but im ngl its pretty useless since its purely endgame. Most ppl neglect it unless they go for completionist route (all achievements / 100%) or some yt challenge orr whatever. sure its fun to use and super op, but the route to making it sucks and is pretty much pointless since bosses dont give you a challenge anymore. course this is purely vanilla terraria im talking about, not calamity, thorium, etc. so game progression wise, beam swords better. since most ppl just do moonlord% runs and dont go beyond that

I'd prefer meowmere or horseman's blade, those weapons have lots of good stats and power, compared to the Beam Sword.

well, yeah. beam sword is early hardmode whereas pumpkin sword is post plantera and meowmere is endgame and used to be best sword in the game in 1.3

i go for 100% but not for a stupid challenge

i do it entirley for fun and when I create a perfect world the way I want it I will feel very accomplished

it feels very nice to contane the corruption In a small farm for loot

same with hallow

then make a separate world and never go hardmode so you can get no corruption and make it main base with insane builds and cool pre hardmode farms aswell as having the satisfaction of usingthe dryads status thing and seeing it 100% pure

it is too satisfying and every time I see it I still cant resist to cry

cuz its so beautiful

and try to get every loadout and tool weapon piece of armor for every load with all modifiers

and make a world as a musiem for this with chests and manicens and womanicens

wich is really hard but kinda fun doing all this work and seeing the end product
