I don't think god would approve of being used as a justification for discriminating against others

exactly
He loves us all unconditionally and we are all His children so why would He want us to hate on each other?

Because Christians just contradict themselves
They say God wants us to do one thing
Then do the complete opposite

Honestly
Christianity has always been a tool
Whether it'd be justifying war or conquest
Or discrimination

it should never ever be a tool. and no one should ever be forced to believe in something you dont believe in. if someone were truly part of a religion its because they themselves believe it. no one can actually force you to believe anything

and He made us the way we are, no matter who and what we are
okay guys i just want to say this. no matter what you are, discrimination is discrimination. no one has the right to discriminate others and have an excuse for it. and please know that the point of most religions is to be peaceful and love one another, and extremists will use God's name as a weapon, which is wrong on their part, but not on the entire religions part.
