People can dance. People can have a good time. All that is often taken for granted. In Times of War, we should reflect. No one called to Defund the Police in those Days. Families in 1943 were praying that they wouldn't hafta learn to speak Japanese. There is Good and Evil in the World. The Spiritually Blind cannot see. The police have been, for the VERY most part, the guys in WHITE... well, actually BLUE. ♥

I agree, I'm going to an event later this week. About defunding the police, in 1943 I'm sure families wanted safety and to feel secure, so defunding the police never crossed their minds.
Although coming from a city that did defund the police, I'll say it was for the politicians to have to pay less for the police so they had more money for their special interests. Then they keep spending that money and add more money when they have to hire more police because of the backlash they're getting from the residents, properly owners, and businesses. Or it could be because it's an election year. Sorry for going on.
I agree there's Good and Evil in the world, and that not everyone can see it
But as I'm sure you can figure I am one of those requesting more funding for the police. The chief even knows me by name. 😊🌞

The Good Life. I was born there: in Alameda County. That's up in the Bay Area. An avid golfer, my father Andy was a Sergeant in the Army during WW2 who was a connoisseur of wine & foods and proprietor of the Oakland Seafood Grotto on Jack London Square. In fact, he named that area on the estuary Jack London Square. I love California, but sad what corrupt politicians have done to it. I hope they burn in Hell!

I was born here too, and I lived up north when I was a little child. That's very interesting about your father, I'm sure he was a great person. I also hate what the politicians have done to the state, but I've chosen to try and help my community see what I do, in contrast to what they try to sell/tell us.
