And the best part is that, once you’ve learned one stringed instrument, you know pretty much all of them. After a few years of violin, I was able to self-teach myself cello in under a month, and now I’m able to teach younger cellists tips and tricks!
So, if you do end up absolutely hating violin (I don’t think you will though) it’s RIDICULOUSLY easy to switch to another stringed instrument on a dime!

Piano if its a option. Its the easiest and most digital music making programs use it to lay out notes. Like, FL Studio, beepbox, onlinesequencer etc.

mmm i play violin and once you get an idea of what you're doing, like the notes on the strings, it can be fairly easy
if you do choose that i recommend writing down the fingerings on the sheet music [if you can] so if, for example, you had the notes on the image, you would write down "2 D", i think "1 A", "1 D", and then "2 E" so you know how to play the note
F on the D string is two fingers, B on the A string is one finger, E on the D string is one finger, and G on the E string is two fingers

Unsure. Take your time to review your options. I play clarinet, or as I like to call it, the noot noot machine, or the clarinoot for short. Very noot noot.
Perhaps trumpet can go noot noot too?

I personally would play either violin or viola, violas a lot more fun in my opinion

I'm a percussionist, so I wouldn't know what's easier

I play the viola so this might just be personal bias but you should play the violin. Or percussion.

trumpet is one of the easier instruments, I played it and french horn. Do not recomend french horn for a beginner.
