The average liberal/progressive/leftist doesn't care, however, as long as the bad stuff caused by their leadership's own policies does not personally happen to them. This is because self-righteous virtue signaling is a major reason WHY they are leftists in the first place. It's a sheeple group solidarity exercise and intellectual activity very definetly need not apply.
They want to demonstrate against phantom injustices -- in this case coddle poor and misunderstood criminal elements WHILE punish the police for existing -- while somehow STILL being safe from the criminals their policies are coddling . . . or at least being able to call upon the leftist caused DEFUNDED and now UNDERSTAFFED and POORLY EQUIPED police to somehow protect them from the consequences that have -- in many large dem party controlled cities -- dramatically mushroomed.
