It's not being banned but Mexico is having movements to try and coin terms for nb people. Idk if other Spanish speaking countries are doing this but I know it's a big thing in Mexico rn
It's just funny to think about, it's really one of the first things I thought about when I realized both Spanish and French have masculine and feminine
