Let me guess there is more to the story on the one on the left. Was he in possession of a gun when he was busted? Also, in Michigan, weed is “legal” (decriminalized as a state crime) but amounts over “personal consumption” are stll illegal at the federal level. Did he have prior gun or drug convictions?
I doubt probation is the norm for kidnap and rape of a child, but liberal judges and prosecutors are often way too soft on crime.
