As a lifelong Democrat, I have heard his name, more often than not associated with something "Shady." I know that I would never vote for him. I can't understand how he has stayed in office. The New Jersey Republican Party must nominate the worst candidates. In California we rejected Senator Alan Cranston, after the Savings and Loan Scandal. My favorite Secretary of Veterans Affairs was a Republican. He stayed loyal to Cranston. I didn't know the Senator as well as he did. But, I knew he betrayed our trust. He lost my vote forever. I agree, Menendez is a farce. But, it sounds like they got him, this time. We will see.
