Mineta is of course a pervert character, to the point of extreme exaggeration, yes, but he has other traits too. Mineta actually cares for his friends and the kids of Class 1A and has had some really great moments showing his bravery. He’s not necessarily the best character, but I also don’t think he deserves all the hate he gets. Also, while it can be too much many times, there have been some times where he’s been pretty funny about his perverted nature. TL;DR: People overlook Mineta’s other character traits, arc, and moments and only think about his pervy side. Is Mineta the greatest? No. Is he the worst? No, and I don’t think he deserves all the hate he gets.
