The Diffuser is a class made solely for countering other classes. His primary weapon is a basic shotgun to help getting out of hairy situations, and has all the other shotgun sidegrade like the other classes with shotguns. His secondary weapon is a taser, which slows down enemies and makes them unable to jump for some time. This is perfect for dealing with Scouts, Medics, and other fast classes. It can also destroy projectiles like rockets and grenades if used correctly. His melee weapon is an electrical light thingy that sets enemies on fire for 5 seconds, which is good for dealing with Spies.
