"One family is very happy"
Every Simpsons episode ever literally involves at least one member of the family in some kind of horrible situation, but typically more.
In the first season alone, Homer literally can't buy Christmas presents for his kids because Marge had to pay for a tattoo removal for Bart, Bart gets caught by Principal Skinner doing graffiti and basically gets so emotionally damaged that he fakes his test, Homer takes his family to therapy where they literally shock each other since he thinks his family's standards are so horrible, and the next episode tries to commit f**king suicide the after being fired because he crashed a forklift while trying to praise his son on his field trip and basically feeling like he does nothing for his family afterwards, Bart gets consistently beaten up and shoved into a trashcan after school with none of the adults helping him at all, Lisa gets clinical depression, Homer is mistaken for Bigfoot after he gets lost in the woods with Bart and is tranquilized, locked up in a lab for study, and is basically just a human guinea pig, Bart and Homer literally almost get burnt alive and beaten to death by the entirety of Springfield, Homer thinks his wife has left him for a french dude and gets depression, Homer is kicked out of the house because Bart basically made an image of him dancing with a stripper viral (without internet and social media cause that didn't really exist), Bart gets deported to France and becomes a slave to 2 french dudes who force him to drink an entire bottle of anti-freeze to see how effective it might be for wine, Bart gets mentally scarred because his idol has been accused of armed robbery, and Bart and Lisa get tied up by a psychopathic babysitter who proceeds to get away after Homer makes a mistake, and feels crummy about himself afterwards.
I don't think that's a "happy family".
