You'd be surprised what you ca remember when you LIVED through something, as opposed to being born TWO generations after it became the past. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeverybody spat on our soldiers. There weren't any welcome home parades in Pignuts Arkansas or Smokedgizzards Texas either.
