Genocide, civil wars, slavery, colonization, war crimes.... There's always at least one of these things going on at any given moment since the beginning, its just that the world just inexplicably decides collectively that only 1 thing every 2 decades is note worthy
and that 1 thing? well you'll never hear the end of it. It'll never stop being brought up no matter what.
Its like there's a global scape-goat system in place.
