A story by jk: Astras day at shaderia

Collector: hey Astra aren’t you supposed to visit shaderia today
Astra: OH I forgot that was today
*she opens a portal and leave’s through it*
Astra: byeeeeeee—

*astra pops out of the portal at the shaderian research lab*
Astra: wow this place is huge!
*astra checks in for her appointment there*
Shad: I TOLD YOU GUYS YOU CANT MAKE ELECTRICITY EMITTING LIMes—oh hey astra your here
Astra: hi
Shad: hello…uh ignore that I was just talk with the some of the scientists. So you ready for your testing
Astra: yep

*astra and Shad walk over to the scanner*
Shad : ok Astra could you get in the scanner I’ll go turn it on and Fay can help you if you need it
*astra goes in the scanner*
Astra: this is correct right?
Fay: yes. And I’ve is probably disappointed that you have nothing underneath your clothes
Astra: HEY!
Fay: sorry, sorry just making a joke
Astra : it’s all good
Fay: after your done with this appointment want me to show you around the city
Astra : sure!

*after a couple more observations and tests*
Astra : why’d they have me play four matches of splatoon salmon run?
Fay: who knows, the researchers just need some kind of info.
Shad: well Astra there’s only one test left to go
The combat test
Astra: oooh!
Shad: you’ll be fighting against some drones with non harmful attacks, and don’t worry about damaging them they’re cheap.

*the group arrives in a large room where Astra goes to the center and the others join some scientists behind a window *
Speaker system: hello participant
In a moment a total of twenty various drone’s will be brought out.
Astra: I got thi—
*five flying turrets start firing foam pellets at her*
Astra: HEY i didn’t even get time to think
*she throws a spear through three of them*
*5 bladed drones come out of the ground*
*astra hits a flyer with the flat side of the spear crashing it down onto a blade drone*
*2 blade drones jump at Astra and miss, hitting each other *

*Astra takes down the remaining drones with her spear*
*10 more drones come out, 8 with lasers and blades, 2 with rocket cannons*
Astra : I THOUGHT YOU SAID THIS WASNT DANGEROUS
Shad : (yelling through glass) ITS NOT THOSE ROCKETS DONT EXPLODE AND THOSE LASERS SHOOT GEL PELLETS
*astra spins her spear around taking down six small drones*
*The rocket drones fire a swarm into the air*
*astra dodges hitting the two small drones with the missed rockets*
*the drones prepare to fire again but are taken down by a spear*
Speaker system: thank you for participating please return to the main lobby of the lab

Shad : so Astra you and Fay can go walk around the city while the people here work on the project, ok?
Astra: ok

*astra and Fay come back to the lab*
Astra: man that sandwich was good
Fay: see I told you fried laprey was good
Astra: yeah they just look weird
Fay: did you like that robe you bought
Astra : yeah it’s nice
*shadronia and some scientists pushing a cart show up*
Shad: well Astra thanks to your help we’ve come up with this * there’s a gray and orange metal ball on the cart* it’s kinda like you
Astra: but why would you copy me I’m supposed to be myself
Shad: no Astra this thing is just a copy of how your mechanics worked it’ll eventually start to grow and change like you used to and will turn out different
Astra: so it’s kinda like a twin like how they might look similar but have different personalities
Shad: exactly, now if I may ask, what do you want to call this
Astra : I’ll call it nova

*The next morning Astra is preparing to leave*
Shad:ASTRA
Astra: yeah
Shad: before you leave I wanted to tell you something to tell collector, I’m thinking about stepping down as shaderian leader and maybe going to help the people on the planet that was below the rift
Astra: that sounds good, just who’s gonna take over for you
Shad: have you heard of an election
Astra: ohhh
Shad: well bye Astra
Astra: byeeee-*she leaves through a portal*
