it's kind of stupid at this point but the story needs a bit of context-
1. My step mom's bipolar
2. I'm pretty sure she has separation issues-
3. There will be times where we talk really often and then stretches of time where we don't talk at all
4. When we do talk we usually talk for long periods of time about really fun or meaningful things

so this story happened about a week ago. Me and my stepmom were finally talking again after about a couple months or so without talking. I was really excited cuz I really enjoy talking with her lol. But what we're talking she got really meaningful and shit with me and it was very sweet, but ( and I can't remember how we got in this topic) I told her that even though she's bipolar and we go without talking for stretches of time, I wouldn't mind and would always love her the same (awww wholesome whatever) and she started cheering up and told me that, and I quote, "I've had friends, boyfriends, and even parents leave me ( for stuff like that), so that means a lot to me" and it's all been really thinking about lately at night, like I am just a stupid teen (barely), I'm almost certain there's something wrong with me, and yet for some reason the kid who constantly talks about arson and murdering people because it's funny has empathy??? Like??? I don't even know I just feel bad and also confused on how I contribute anything and sorry this is long I'm ranting now-

That’s because the jokes you make about arson and murdering people are for humor and you don’t actually mean it. However, this proves yet again, how incredibly amazing you are and even with everything that your mom’s been through and even some personal battles she may be having without you knowing, you still manage to make her smile, and give her hope once again. Because who knows, she probably really really needed to hear that.

In conclusion, there is nothing wrong with you. Things are just getting a little bumpy because obviously people have some personal problems that they have come against them, but like I said before, that’s why they have 👑 you 👑 to bring a smile and joy to them once again, so, by all means, keep being the incredibly amazing gigachad that you were born, are, and are destined to be 🔥🔥🔥
