The Democrat Party just can't let go of slavery. When you can't earn enough to pay for what you need, you become their slave.

Economics 101; People exchange a part of their lives (time) which has a limited quantity (lifespan) and abilities for a form of monetary equivalence (paycheck) which can be used as exchange for goods and services from others or invested for future gain. Is it any surprise that Democrats- the party of the little guy, the party that condemns slavery, the party that preaches equality, the party that reduces unborn human life to a mere clump of meaningless cells, devalues everyone's life through inflation causing policies while making everything cost more.
