I hate baseball (I really do, unlike the rest of you.)

baseball seems hard since you’re trying to hit a medium-small object with a long, kind of skinny object
I’m pretty sure I played baseball when I was, like, 6

I used to play softball and it was awful. But in this case it’s a reference.

i've been lucky enough to never have to play in school (i don't live in burgermuncher land) but in turn we have like half of my class obsessed with basketball (at, like, the same level as my obsession with video games)

I never had to play in school, personally, just my dear parents signing me up for stuff.
