There were also a TON of decals. I'll make another post if I decide to put them all on. | Just finished the Gundam epyon! Here are my thoughts on it. This is definitely one of the most unique Gundams I've ever built, although at first glance it does look similar to the aegis Gundam. I'll put a comparison in comments since I forgot to add one here. Now, although the box is VERY densely packed with runners, there actually isn't that much once it's fully built. But in this case it's quality over quantity. It's also from the same universe as the Gundam anime I watched, Gundam wing! Although I never watched the endless waltz version. Starting with the weapons, specifically the shield, it has one of the most unique things I've ever seen in a Gundam kit. I've seen beam sabers, hammers, etc, But never a whip! It also has a secondary function in the transformation; Although I haven't seen endless waltz here's what I think the whip looks like when it's retracted. I'll keep it like this for most of the review because it's easier to pose with it like this. The beam saber is also very unique, it's connected to the Gundam via a wire you can bend into any position, and it looks AWESOME. Usually beam sabers are just a blade on a handle, but you know it's strong if it needs a cable to power it; The wings are also very nice, they can expand similarly to the master grade wing Gundam (not the ew one, I only have the original) but they use a different mechanism to do so. You have to pull one of the segments down, but it can be quite difficult at times. Now here's one of the main features of this kit, the badass dragon form! The only hard part is what you have to do with the legs for them to become these two heads, but you'll get used to it over time. It also has a built in base adapter where the shield connects to become the tail, it's compatible with the bandai action base 1, however it could also be compatible with some of the other large ones; If you don't have an action base 1 it can stand on it's own, however I think it looks better in flying poses. For this transformation you have to disconnect the hands just like with the wing Gundam, which I'm not really disappointed about. But I am disappointed about this. They did NOTHING to hide the original head. Luckily I was able to use the camera angle to hide it for a better photo; Definitely one of my favorite master grade kits! Although I am still kinda disappointed about where the head is in the dragon form. 9/10 | made w/ Imgflip meme maker

Now that I look at them side by side, the aegis Gundam almost looks pink compared to the epyon

Also this is definitely taking the aegis Gundam's spot on my shelf. I'll make a post once I've decided on it's pose.
