It would be nice if proxy war supporters also HAD to participate in some way that they found inconvenient to their life style and end goals in life . . . just so that they had some skin in the game in regards to their decision involving the entire rest of their nation and its future.
Ultimately we got out of the Vietnam 'War' fiasco because the youths of this nation were TIRED of being raised to HAVE to done a uniform and then be shipped maybe into the war zone. Of course after the draft ended and the all volunteer force was expanded for future involvements the average citizen no longer had any skin in the game and gradually it became easier to look at things as . . . entertainment.
