Fossils are extremely rare because the organism has to die and immediately be covered in sediment. How does that happen? A flood.

Don’t get me wrong. There are holes in the literalist stance on Creationism. Like how can we see stars if they’re millions of light years away? It would have to take light millions of years to reach us.

But yeah, those fossils didn’t just “appear” there. They were put there by a flood.

Either way, it doesn’t change your salvation status if you believe the world is 4,000 years old or 4.5 billion years old. But it is something cool to talk about.

Honestly yeah I was flabbergasted when I've learned about some biblical events been (or having a great chance to be) real, especially the Ancien Testament. It seems logical when you think about it, but I've always imagined them like some fables of moral and humans.
