Echo chamber is actually quite a good description of what most people here are in, they only listen to the people that agree with them, they think anyone who disagrees with them is an idiot, and if they even gaze at source at a source that isn't what they want to hear they say something along the lines of "there are also sources that say the opposite so we wouldn't know which one is true... but... I still believe my sources definitively because they're better"
Like I have literally had literally the exact same exchange of comments with like four or five separate people multiple times and they all go the same way, I say something, they say I'm wrong, I send sources and explain what I'm saying better, and they say my sources can't be completely trusted because some sources say the opposite and that they are speculative at best even though they treat their own sources as completely true and fact even though they are just as credible as mine and also have a bunch of other sources that say otherwise. They don't even try to acknowledge other sources and be even slightly constructive.
