Russians are experts at improvisation with the bare minimum. They learned it during WW2 and evidently the ukrainians are now copying their idea after mocking it.
Fun fact! Most Russian tanks can easily be repaired after being 'destroyed', so essentially when ukrainians state that they've destroyed a Russian tank, those tanks get repaired and re-sent back into battle over-and-over again until the metal is too far beyond repair. So Russia has lost less than a quarter of the tanks that the AFU have claimed despite them actually technically being destroyed.
