40 years ago, this week, I was a 5-year-old, living with my family, on a Houston Street; witnessing, powerful and destructive winds, with constant rain, which I had never seen before. Watching hopelessness, play out through a screen door. By the end, sadly, there were a good number of lost lives, but those who survived,
like I, were so blessed, and grateful, just to be alive, that to no surprise, we all came together, to check on one another, and to tell, Alicia, goodbye!
