Violent Crime rates

Thank you! I really wish more people would take the times to look 💩 up. I'd much rather spend my time looking at cute pandas. Maybe Netflix's new 'How to become a cult leader" will wake some people up? 👃👃👃

As a social species, humans are naturally inclined towards hierarchies, and seek out that with what at least appears to be the most domineering leader. Even those aspiring to be such themselves seek the stronger group with the strongest leader(s) in the hopes of climbing to that spot themselves eventually. The majority are content with being told how to live their lives in a way that at least seems secure.

While I appreciate your intellectual breakdown of it, I'm reverting to these over simplified words from Metallica: "You know it's sad but true" I understand the concept of the "Cult of Personality" (another great song from the 80's - Living Color - I know I'm aging myself here 😄) but I always pictured someone who was at least outwardly appealing. Maybe well spoken? Attractive? What would happen if someone like that came along with authoritarian aspirations? I feel like this is a very ominous (and obvious) warning about how easy it could be for someone to completely take over, and turn is into a dictatorship. It's a genuinely terrifying thought.
