Good news everyone! The glue finally set on the weapon! Now I can take badass photos with it! Anyway, here's my review of the Gundam Livelance Heaven; Now, right off the bat you can see why it's called the livelance.
This massive frickin lance! And I very much mean it when I say MASSIVE. It's literally double the size of the Gundam! Anyway, you're probably wondering why it's so bulky. To that I say: "this isn't even my final form!"; Yes, I know the table is dirty AF. The good one had stuff all over it and I couldn't use it. Yes! The cloak doubles as a set of wings! This is one of the more unique things I've seen while building Gundam models. Now, if you were looking at this and thinking "that blade looks familiar..." That's because it is! It uses the same runner as the high grade sinanju, therefore you can swap out the long blade for this. But that also means there is an extra beam saber piece that isn't compatible with any of the extra parts. And of course, there's this. The blade can rotate to become a scythe. I'm not as enthusiastic with how I write this part because this is actually how I broke it in my previous posts, I thought it could rotate a bit further using a "joint" where the handle connects to the blade. That was not a joint. I learned that the hard way. Anyway, as for articulation it's pretty average for a high grade. It has it's pros and cons. For the knees, it has the classic double joint mechanism, but it also has a locking mechanism in the knee armor that lets it move ever so slightly further. For the arms, it's also the classic double joint. But if you move the top joint of the elbow first it'll be blocked by the armor. Definitely be careful with the waist though, the ball joint is pretty loose. But bandai did something different with this one. It can tilt forward to add some better articulation! so I guess they knew this was loose. And as with pretty much every Gundam Breaker Battlogue kit you can remove the backpack and put it on other kits, I'm pretty sure it's compatible with all other GBB kits, but anything else I can't be quite as sure. Also in cloak mode it can be a little difficult to make those yellow parts on the front line up, but when they do line up it is WORTH IT! This is a pretty good kit if you don't make the stupid mistake I did, 7.5/10.
I definitely recommend it if you like a royal/angelic look!
