1: Polearm such as a spear, poleaxe, or naginata
2: Swords such as the Sabre, rapier, longsword, or a katana
3: Dagger

The spear. You should try asking for a sword as a side arm as well

I'd reccomend a double sided longsword. Its the jack-of-all-trades sword

The bladesmith is usually located in Splatsville (in the Inkverse) in Pyloon's Saloon

The bladesmith doesn't like overcrowding so you'll have to book an appointment
